About the Role

As a Virtual Small Business Advisor, you'll play a vital role in guiding and supporting entrepreneurs across Canada. You'll be dedicated to building strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored advice to help them achieve success.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of small business clients, focusing on retention and growth while adhering to Scotiabank's service standards.
  • Remotely assess client needs, recommend suitable products and services, and complete applications to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Proactively engage with both new and existing clients to cultivate lasting relationships and provide comprehensive guidance on business development.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow advisors to create a customer-centric environment and share best practices.

  • Proven expertise in business development techniques, knowledge of various legal structures for businesses, competitor offerings, and alternative financing options.

  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with a passion for connecting with people and fostering collaboration.
  • A business-related degree or equivalent experience as a small business owner.
