Job Title: Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Northwest London Veterinary Clinic. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of our animal hospital, clinic, or mobile service to farms. Your role will involve preparing and submitting reports, coordinating work assignments, ordering materials and supplies, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and sanitation policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Operational Coordination: Coordinate work assignments, schedules, and resources to ensure seamless operation of our animal hospital, clinic, or mobile service.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order materials and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 individuals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional post-sale client support, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Procedure Development: Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of our animal hospital, clinic, or mobile service.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience in operations management, supervisory roles, or a related field.
Skills and Qualities
  • Strong Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and clients.
  • Organizational: Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced work environment, with a focus on providing exceptional client service and ensuring efficient operation of our animal hospital, clinic, or mobile service.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel required, with occasional overnight stays.
