The Logistics Operations Supervisor, under the direction of the Production Manager, is responsible for overseeing and directing the workforce within their division. This role involves delivering training, establishing expectations, and ensuring compliance with established standards.

Moreover, the Logistics Operations Supervisor will engage in problem resolution not only with team members but also with carriers, suppliers, and other facilities within Olymel. Ensuring adherence to HACCP/SQF protocols and upholding quality benchmarks are essential duties of this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delegating tasks and setting clear objectives
  • Communicating results related to efficiency and quality
  • Identifying and addressing challenges
  • Implementing necessary changes
  • Conducting analysis of tasks
  • Overseeing employee training initiatives
  • Participating in collaborative meetings
  • Working in conjunction with other supervisors
  • Managing emergency situations
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of the food production sector
  • Familiarity with HACCP/SQF or ISO standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AS400 software
  • Bilingualism in French and English is preferred
