Here’s what you will do as our

Operations Supervisor:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Supervisor is tasked with enhancing production processes and ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks.

This role involves optimizing resource allocation, identifying production challenges, and overseeing all operational aspects to meet or exceed efficiency and quality objectives.

Additionally, the Operations Supervisor is instrumental in upholding food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by ensuring that all operations align with regulatory requirements.

Furthermore, the Operations Supervisor collects and analyzes data related to raw materials, finished products, and production challenges to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities as a

Operations Supervisor:
Manage daily production operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of production plans.
Lead and guide the production team, ensuring operational effectiveness and adherence to the highest quality standards.
Recruit production personnel based on operational needs and encourage internal growth and development across all positions.
Efficiently allocate resources, including workforce, machinery, and materials, to maximize production output.

Monitor and evaluate production KPIs (yield, waste, etc.) to identify and implement corrective measures for quality, efficiency, and ongoing improvement.

Collaborate with production planning to assess material and labor requirements, adjusting production schedules as necessary.
Identify training requirements and select and train plant personnel for specific job functions.
Support the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of food safety and quality assurance programs.
Ensure that all sanitation processes within the plant meet company and regulatory standards.
Play a key role in maintaining the company's dedication to food safety and high-quality products.

Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues and promote a culture of continuous quality enhancement.

Here’s what you’ll need to be a successful

Operations Supervisor:
Bachelor’s Degree or a Diploma in Applied Science, Food Science, or Manufacturing;
At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a production environment, preferably within the Food or Beverage sector;
Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and inspire a diverse team to achieve shared objectives;
Previous experience in Production & Labor scheduling is advantageous;
Proficient in business systems, with the capability to extract data for management reporting;
Skilled in MS Office applications;
Knowledge of inventory management practices;
