Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior General Claims Adjuster to enhance our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating, assessing, negotiating, and resolving commercial claims through both phone and written communication. This role involves guiding field adjusters on specific assignments and ensuring the precise documentation, reporting, and presentation of claims files.
Key Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an insurance claims setting, with a focus on commercial lines being advantageous.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant insurance discipline, actively pursuing full licensure and CIP designation.
- Proficient in conducting telephone investigations, assessing, negotiating, and resolving both first and third-party commercial claims.
- Skilled in Claims Management Systems (CMS), with a focus on maintaining accurate and detailed records of activities, transactions, and reserves.
- Advanced proficiency in Office 365 and other computer applications.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- A collaborative team player dedicated to quality service and customer satisfaction.
