Claims Resolution Specialist

The Claims Representative is responsible for handling customer complaints and credits, resolving problems to the customer's satisfaction, and documenting all claims calls for verification and resolution. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Handle customer calls and emails regarding complaints and credits, and determine the best resolution for the customer.
- Prioritize work based on urgency, ensuring that critical issues are addressed promptly.
- Gather all necessary information to make informed decisions and resolve claims efficiently.
- Consult with freight companies to track missing items and resolve freight claims.
- Follow up with customers to ensure resolution and make any necessary arrangements for returns or credits.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues and provide excellent customer service.
- 2 years of experience in claims or order desk roles in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a polite and positive telephone presence.
- Ability to remain calm and helpful when dealing with upset customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
