Job Title: Claims Representative

Horizon Grocery + Wellness is seeking a highly skilled Claims Representative to join our team. As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for resolving customer complaints and credits in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle customer calls and emails regarding complaints and credits, and resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Document and investigate claims for verification and resolution.
  • Collaborate with freight companies to track missing items and process freight claims.
  • Follow up with customers regarding resolution, arrange returns, and process credits.
  • Prioritize work based on urgency and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Examine situations thoroughly before denying a claim.
  • Familiarize yourself with claims procedures for key accounts.
  • Consult with CS Manager regarding system pricing errors.
  • Remain calm and non-argumentative, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of claims or order-desk experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a polite and positive telephone presence.
  • Excellent problem-solving capability and investigative skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful when dealing with upset customers.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
