Claims Resolution Specialist

Horizon Grocery + Wellness is seeking a skilled Claims Representative to join our team. As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for resolving customer complaints and credits in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle customer calls and emails regarding complaints and credits, and resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Document and investigate claims for verification and resolution.
- Collaborate with freight companies to track missing items and process freight claims.
- Follow up with customers regarding resolution, arrange returns, and process credits.
- Prioritize work based on urgency and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Examine situations thoroughly before denying a claim.
- Familiarize yourself with claims procedures for key accounts.
- Consult with CS Manager regarding system pricing errors.
- Remain calm and non-argumentative, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- 2 years of claims or order-desk experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a polite and positive telephone presence.
- Excellent problem-solving capability and investigative skills.
- Ability to remain calm and helpful when dealing with upset customers.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong sense of self-responsibility and self-awareness.
