About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at 2685645 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and ensure that all necessary stock is ordered and received.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Team Management
    • Lead a team of 5-10 staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers, and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The role will also require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
