As a Bilingual Member Services Representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the primary contact for member inquiries via phone and digital channels.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of OMERS pension plan administration to provide timely and accurate support.
  • Exercising sound judgment to ensure information is communicated clearly, positively, and courteously.
  • Managing a variety of inquiries, including resolving escalated issues.
  • Analyzing data to identify challenges and collaborating with relevant teams to address them.
  • Being adaptable to take on additional responsibilities, including assisting other departments as needed.
  • Maintaining productivity standards, service levels, and a high degree of member satisfaction.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance team efficiency to better serve our members.
  • Collaborating with colleagues by sharing information and communicating in a professional and transparent manner.
  • Promoting and embodying OMERS' vision and core values while building strong relationships with internal teams, employers, members, and financial institutions.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education or accreditation in a business-related field.
  • Over two years of experience in pension benefit administration or customer service, with relevant experience being advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
