Position Overview

In the capacity of the Head of Engineering, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the smooth functioning, safety, and dependability of our organization’s facilities, machinery, and infrastructure. Your role will encompass maintenance, engineering, and process enhancement, with an emphasis on new product launches and automation. You will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster excellence in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership in Maintenance and Engineering:
    • Guide and oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff.
    • Manage the scheduling, planning, and execution of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
    • Establish and execute a thorough preventive maintenance strategy to decrease emergency repairs and sustain facility efficiency.
  • New Product Launch Management:
    • Partner with R&D and New Product Development teams to formulate strategies for launching new products.
    • Ensure the smooth integration of new products into current manufacturing workflows.
    • Track the progress of NPI initiatives and coordinate with stakeholders to guarantee successful product introductions.
  • Production Equipment and Automation Oversight:
    • Oversee significant capital projects associated with production equipment and automation.
    • Enhance existing processes through automation to boost efficiency and productivity.
    • Collaborate with senior management to monitor project advancements and achieve budgetary and timeline objectives.
  • Health, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within maintenance and engineering operations.
    • Enforce health and safety standards for contractors.
    • Appoint, manage, and ensure the availability of qualified personnel for engineering and maintenance tasks.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
    • Lead ongoing improvement efforts in maintenance practices, engineering methodologies, and automation.
    • Work alongside other departments to elevate overall operational efficiency.
