Key Responsibilities:
- Creating 3D models and 2D schematics of marine equipment and systems
- Conducting technical studies, drafting specifications, and surveys for both governmental and commercial vessels
- Executing engineering designs for auxiliary systems
- Integrating engineering modifications into existing designs
- Participating in systems integration initiatives
Required Skills and Experience:
- Educational Background: Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma (Marine Engineering Systems)
- Experience: 8-10+ years of hands-on experience in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and engineering design/integration projects
- Familiarity with marine systems is advantageous
- Proficient in Microstation and/or AutoCAD or S3D
- Skilled in MS Office Suite, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities
- Experience in Naval Warship design is a plus
Important Note: All successful candidates must comply with the requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and obtain Canadian Government Security clearance.
