Job Summary

As a key member of the Acuity Brands leadership team, the Regional Vice President of C&I Sales, Canada will be responsible for driving sales growth and strategy across the Canadian market. This role will oversee the Canadian sales team, including specification and distribution sales teams, as well as national account sellers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales leadership and a deep understanding of the lighting and electrical industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to capitalize on the strength of the product portfolio and the Canadian sales force.
  • Establish market and target customer strategies in conjunction with the sales leadership team.
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop strategies for increasing penetration within the addressable market.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the sales and agency teams to achieve sales goals and initiatives.
  • Manage the overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales pipeline management and utilizing available enterprise tools to improve processes and increase sales force effectiveness.
  • Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and development of the sales organization.
  • Implement company promotions and marketing initiatives through the network to achieve goals for the Canadian distribution network.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in the lighting and electrical industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience using CRM tools and a willingness to challenge the status quo with a bias towards action.
  • High level of energy and commitment, with the ability to work in a fast-paced matrix environment.
  • Experience developing effective relationships with channel partners, including end users, the specification community, electrical wholesalers, and contractors.
Travel Requirements

Travel requirement will vary from 30-60%.
