Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs, including those with cardiac conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- One year of recent acute Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery and/or acute Medical/Surgical and/or Emergency Nursing experience.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM).
- Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration.
- Advanced Assessment Course completion.
- Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
