We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our critical care team, you will provide expert nursing care to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide independent nursing services, including administration of prescribed medical treatments and coordination of patient care and discharge.
- Lead a leadership role within the healthcare team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based nursing practices, promoting best practices and improving patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Current CRNM registration.
- Post-graduate course in ICU nursing or equivalent experience.
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM).
- Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration.
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
- Experience working in a critical care environment.
