Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will work under the guidance of the Manager of Health Services, offering clinical expertise to nursing staff. Your leadership will be essential in coordinating patient care, ensuring optimal health outcomes, and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing personnel.
  • Coordinate patient care activities to enhance quality outcomes.
  • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration within the healthcare team.
  • Uphold the values and objectives of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of recent nursing experience is required, with specific experience in designated areas preferred.
  • Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing or Registered Psychiatric Nursing program. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
  • Licensure: Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba is mandatory.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of nursing standards and ethical practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate care effectively.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology and software relevant to nursing practice.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical tasks.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
