We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs, including those requiring surgical and cardiology services.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, promoting evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the education and professional development of nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) and active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM).
- One year of experience in CSIU and/or surgical nursing and/or cardiology nursing, with a strong background in patient assessment and care planning.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program and completion of the Advanced Assessment Course.
- Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration and active participation in professional development opportunities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
