About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Smoke Poutinerie as an Executive Chef. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our menu offerings meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions that align with our brand's culinary vision and customer preferences.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering, storage, and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide guidance, coaching, and training to our kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in food preparation, presentation, and safety.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our food products meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
