- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
The position is based in a fast-paced restaurant setting, where teamwork and efficiency are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Assess food portion sizes and calculate associated costs
- Design menus and forecast food requirements for preparation
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes
- Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety practices
- Oversee kitchen personnel and assist with their duties
- Manage inventory and maintain records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
- Organize and manage buffets and banquets
- Cook Trade Certification
- Food Safety Certificate
- Specialization in Cantonese cuisine
- Proficient in sushi preparation techniques
- Experience with Szechuan and Dim Sum dishes
