About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at 639583 NB Inc. as a Kitchen Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant, catering firm, or bar environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, potentially up to 8 hours per day.
