About the Role

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and maintaining our non-clinical systems and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct user workshops and work with internal and external teams on all phases of the system lifecycle, including requirement gathering, analysis, solution design, development, data flow, implementation, integration, testing, training, support, and maintenance.
  • Lead system problem solving, changes, patching, configuration, release documentation review, process mapping, and oversee all matters related to the non-clinical systems.
  • Create and document detailed upgrade plans, test scripts, technical documentation, and user education materials.
  • Provide team leadership, mentorship, input, and support for the implementation of operational and strategic plans of non-clinical systems.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in implementing, supporting, and maintaining large-scale systems.
  • Extensive working knowledge of interface and integration methodology (HL7, SOAP, Web Service, DICOM, FHIR, database (SQL or Oracle), and programming languages (PHP, C#, Python, or Java).
  • Working experience with EMRs, interface engines, clinical applications, and device integration is an asset.
  • Working experience with PowerApps, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Virtualization.
