Senior Energy Metering Consultant

Position Overview
Trilliant is seeking a Senior Energy Metering Consultant who will oversee metering and communication functions across various departments, ranging from meter shop operations to customer engagement projects. This role is pivotal as the primary expert in metering and communication solutions, collaborating with diverse technologies to ensure an optimal customer experience. The Senior Consultant will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote Trilliant's offerings as the subject matter authority in metering solutions. This position reports directly to the Metershop Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support to both internal and external stakeholders, serving as the senior consultant in all areas, including sales and customer service.
- Assist in logistics and inventory management related to customer orders, projects, and material movements as required by the organization.
- Manage relationships with business partners for outsourced assembly of devices, acting as a key stakeholder in Trilliant's supply chain.
- Recommend and implement new equipment as necessary, and carry out maintenance tasks in the MeterShop.
- Adhere to procedures established by Measurement Canada and the organization.
- Develop and implement solutions for metering inquiries and communications in collaboration with internal teams.
- Provide ongoing training and update technical procedures and best practices in line with Measurement Canada and company policies.
- Act as a safety ambassador, ensuring compliance with Trilliant's Quality Management System policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as they arise or are required.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in metering and communication solutions.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management.
- In-depth expertise in metering devices and communication technologies used in advanced metering solutions, along with related equipment and accessories.
- Comprehensive understanding of metering principles and supporting communication technologies.
- Familiarity with advanced metering solution devices and assets.
Educational Background:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a college diploma.
