Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive health care services to patients, ensuring their physical and mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' health by consulting with other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.
- Assist in and perform routine surgical procedures.
- Administer vaccinations and inoculations to prevent diseases.
- Engage in health care policy development and planning.
- Provide health advice and education to patients.
- Oversee and mentor medical staff.
- Act as an advocate for patients' health needs.
- Manage and coordinate primary health care for patients.
- Deliver acute care management services.
- Offer counseling and support to patients and their families regarding health and lifestyle choices.
- Supervise home care services for patients.
- Oversee staff across various responsibilities.
- Certification from the College of Family Physicians (CCFP).
- Valid licensure from provincial or territorial authorities.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Work Environment- Ability to work under pressure.
- Must possess personal tools/equipment, including a cellular phone.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- This position requires on-site work; remote work is not an option.
- Free parking is available for employees.
- Annual salary range: $240,000 to $252,000 (negotiable) for a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
- Employment terms: Full-time contract or term position.
- Immediate start date available.
