About the Remediation Program Management Team:
WSP's RPM team is recognized as one of the leading groups in Canada, comprising environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, and technical specialists. With over 15 years of experience in managing contaminated site programs for some of the most technically demanding clients, our team is consistently engaged with a robust project pipeline. We specialize in health and safety, environmental assessments, risk analysis, and remediation strategies. The successful candidate will leverage the team's expertise to efficiently manage extensive field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe and supportive work environment for all team members.
- Uphold a strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to:
- Develop health and safety plans and emergency response strategies.
- Prepare project proposals and cost estimates.
- Schedule field personnel and subcontractors.
- Compile and analyze data for reporting purposes.
- Draft reports that include findings and recommendations.
- Conduct fieldwork, including soil and groundwater assessments, monitoring programs, and overseeing remediation efforts.
- Mentor junior staff in environmental practices and site-specific safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the national RPM team and WSP colleagues.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians.
- Develop a personal career advancement plan with clear objectives.
- A university degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in contaminated site assessment and environmental sampling.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in an engineering consulting context.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
- A desire to advance your career within the RPM team.
- Proven ability to work effectively within diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional designation (P.Eng. or P.Geo.) is preferred.
