Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • High school graduation, plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • University undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Additional training in office procedures and practices.
  • Three plus years of recent administrative experience in a professional office environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

The University of British Columbia offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $22.03 - $27.00 per hour, depending on the position. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
