We are a dynamic food service establishment seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure we are operating within our means.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service at all times.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, odorous, wet/damp, hot, and outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, fast food outlet, or concession.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
