Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Crossroads Foods. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Cash Handling and Inventory Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, as well as organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Cost Control and Negotiation: Cost products and services, negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Customer Service and Conflict Resolution: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide exceptional customer service, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including standing for extended periods.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player.
