Your Role
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and mentor technical staff to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and review reports, contract documents, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee schematic and detailed designs, evaluating planning and concept alternatives to deliver innovative solutions.

The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a degree in Structural Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with a Struct. Eng designation in Vancouver.
- Has 10+ years of engineering practice experience, particularly in large-scale Institutional and Healthcare projects. Local experience in BC and/or City Vancouver is an asset.
- Possesses a minimum of 7 years of experience in Concrete, Steel, and Wood design, with a strong understanding of building science, seismic, and construction techniques.
- Familiarity with the National Building Code of Canada is required.
- Demonstrates exceptional business development skills, with established relationships within Vancouver's development community and local architects.
- Is proficient in structural engineering applications such as ETABS, Safe, and STAAD Pro.
