Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Meltwich Food Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff
Lead and manage a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers, to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Train and Develop StaffProvide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
Inventory ManagementOversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
Quality ControlMonitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service to ensure that our customers have an exceptional dining experience.
Financial ManagementPrepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure that our restaurant is operating efficiently and effectively.
Customer ServiceRespond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
Record KeepingMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales, inventory, and staff performance to inform business decisions and improve operations.
Requirements- Education
A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
ExperienceAt least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
LanguageFluent in English.
Work SettingRestaurant environment.
Supervision5-10 people, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers.
