Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of food preparation personnel.
- Training: Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Resource Estimation: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service staff.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service meet established quality control standards.
- Financial Planning: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for operations.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary reports regarding operations.
- Tray Assembly Supervision: Oversee the assembly of food trays.
- Delivery Coordination: Supervise the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff.
This role involves supervising a team of 5-10 individuals, including:
- Cooks (general)
- Food and beverage servers
- Food service counter attendants and food preparers
- Kitchen and food service helpers
- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months of relevant experience in food service.

This is a permanent position requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week, with English as the primary language of communication.
