Position Overview

The Culinary Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel involved in food preparation and service.
  • Training: Instruct staff on their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Resource Planning: Assess and estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Recruitment: Hire and onboard new food service employees.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
  • Logistics Supervision: Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food to customers.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for overseeing a team of 5-10 individuals, including:

  • Cooks (general)
  • Food and beverage servers
  • Food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Kitchen and food service helpers

Experience Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience
  • Permanent employment status

  • Availability for 30 to 40 hours of work per week
