Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Meltwich Food Co. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to provide excellent customer service.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, and that customer complaints are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for food and supplies, and maintain accurate records of sales and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on kitchen and front-of-house operations, including sales data and customer feedback.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Supervision: 5-10 people, including cooks, food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
