Senior Manager, Supplier Initiatives and Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Supplier Initiatives and Transformation. This is a key role within our global Supplier Management team, responsible for driving the transformation and roadmap for the Wealth Management Supplier Management Office (SMO).
Key Responsibilities- Drive the transformation and roadmap for the WM Supplier Management Office (SMO)
- Guide the SMO team on supplier management and risk management standard artefacts, best practices, and policy updates coming from partners
- Execute on supplier management initiatives, supporting the delivery of our Third-Party Risk (TPR) governance requirements
- Conduct stakeholder engagement of business partners and vendors, conducting cross-regional supplier reviews and other assessments
- Develop and implement supplier spend analysis, business case development, and planning
- Monitor and report on supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Support various change and acquisition integration initiatives within WM's overall Supplier Management program
- Business Administration degree (BComm / MBA) and/or management consulting experience
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Risk/Risk Management
- 3+ years' experience in Canadian or International Financial Services
- Project and/or change management experience; PMP and/or OCM certifications
- Formidable critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of flexibility and resourcefulness
- Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize information to frame messages effectively for impact and influence of various audiences and diverse stakeholders
