Director of Clinical Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Clinical Operations to join our team at the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical operations strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage clinical teams to ensure effective coordination and collaboration among clinical services.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to support clinical operations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic and operational direction for clinical services.
- Ensure the development and implementation of policies and procedures to support clinical operations.
- Represent the organization in the health service community, civic, and provincial governments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in a field related to healthcare management or a related field.
- 8-10 years of recent experience in progressively more senior management/leadership roles in healthcare or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead and move forward complex organizational change issues.
- Sound working knowledge of planning concepts related to clinical service delivery, budget management, and reporting.
- Proven presentation skills within a senior leadership capacity.
- Proven proficiency in leading practice in the field of healthcare leadership.
- Strong program planning and development skills, including integration of evidence-based best practices.
- Demonstrated innovative leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to foster a collaborative team approach to decision making.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with staff at all organizational levels both internally and externally.
- Ability to use strong analytical, financial, and research abilities to support decision-making.
- Ability to understand and utilize administrative and research information related to clinical care and practices.
