Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Super 8 Motels. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing hotel operations, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out

Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process check-in/check-out procedures in a timely and efficient manner.

Room Reservations and Management

Take, cancel, and change room reservations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Guest Services and Information

Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area, to ensure guests have a memorable stay.

Cash Handling and Balance

Process guests' departures, calculate charges, receive payments, and balance cash and complete balance sheets.

Emergency and Safety Procedures

Follow emergency and safety procedures, including answering telephone calls and relaying messages, to ensure guest safety and well-being.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

Experience is an asset, but not required. Permanent employment with 40 hours per week is preferred.

Language

Fluency in English is required.
