Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at Super 8 Motels. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reservation Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Guest Information: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as required.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, as well as contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
