Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Hotel Clerk at Super 8 Motels. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reservation Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring that all guests are aware of their room assignments and any changes to their reservations.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including amenities, dining options, and local attractions.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms accurately and efficiently.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, including responding to guest emergencies and ensuring the security of the hotel and its guests.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
