Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at First Student. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our dispatch operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch Support: Provide administrative support to our dispatch team, including scheduling appointments, coordinating routes, and monitoring driver performance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform routine clerical and administrative functions, such as drafting correspondence, maintaining records, and processing invoices.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information to callers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases, and ensure that all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Less than 2 years of experience in an administrative or dispatch role.
  • Skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; good written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational and follow-up skills; strong attention to detail.
  • Equipment: Ability to use office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems; ability to use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
