Drive Sales Growth for ZEISS in the Independent Eye Care Channel
As a Business Development Representative at ZEISS, you'll play a crucial role in managing and expanding sales within the Independent Eye Care Professional (ECP) market. You'll partner closely with eye care professionals to showcase the value of ZEISS products and services, employing consultative selling techniques and maintaining accurate customer records within our CRM system.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently exceed sales targets for Direct Rx business and other strategic programs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of customer operations to develop tailored value-based sales strategies.
- Establish clear call objectives and cultivate strong relationships as a trusted advisor to eye care professionals.
- Think creatively to devise innovative approaches that drive business success.
- Treat your assigned territory as your own franchise, developing comprehensive customer engagement plans.
- Effectively communicate the unique benefits of ZEISS products to Eye Care Professionals.
- Implement marketing initiatives and conduct engaging training seminars for customers.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and internal teams.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards in all customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven success in business-to-business sales within the optical industry or a similar sector.
- Demonstrated ability to guide key opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
- Strong negotiation skills and the capacity to build influential relationships with eye care professionals.
- Results-oriented mindset with exceptional time management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license required for travel within your assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and company-specific technology tools.
