Role Description

This is a full-time remote role as a Customer Development Representative. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to customer development and engagement to support the company's industrial measurement technology solutions.


Specific responsibilities:

·      Maintain assigned customer base within the strategic team through phone and digital formats.

·      Work alongside TTR and contribute within the strategic team and to its success.

·      Review and analyze leads and opportunities thru CRM and multiple platforms to provide input to TTR.

·      CRM Support and updates as required within the team.

·      Travel as required to support customer base (must be pre-approved)

·      Product knowledge

·      Set budgets for customer base.

·      Maintain acceptable margin levels (profit) in conjunction with the TTR.

·      Communicating new products and promote use of WIKA products.

·      Responsible for growing sales in assigned accounts in a defined area of responsibility.

·      Research and development of new customers.

·      Communicate effectively with Inside Sales team / projects group on quotes/problem solving.

·      Resolve customer’s complaints and concerns.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


·        Electrical and/or Instrumentation Technologist and or C-TECH or C.E.T Designation or equivalent industry experience preferred.

·        High School diploma.

·        Experience in the Process Industry an asset

·        WIKA Product knowledge or ability to rapidly learn.

·        Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

·        Excellent organization skills with ability to multitask.

·        Excellent interpersonal skills.

·        Strong written and oral skills to enable effective communication.
