Job Title: Gas Station Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Circle K Gas Station. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our gas station, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Manage Staff: Lead a team of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and office staff, to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Assign Duties and Tasks: Assign tasks and duties to staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the gas station.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Hire and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff members to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure staff members are meeting their performance goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Outlook.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, ability to multitask.

  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.

Support for Youths:
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
