Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Manage Staff: Lead a team of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and office staff, to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Assign Tasks and Duties: Assign tasks and duties to staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the gas station.
- Hire and Train Staff: Hire and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
- Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the gas station is always stocked with the necessary products.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook.
The gas station is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
