Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1319200 BC. LTD. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Operations Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, consistently delivering an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
    • Physically demanding role requiring excellent stamina and endurance.
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Client-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Efficient and flexible, with a strong ability to work under pressure.
    • Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
