Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare budgets and cost estimates, and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and use this data to inform business decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
