Logistics Center Coordinator

About This RoleThe Logistics Center Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the operations within the Logistics Center. This position involves performing administrative tasks in alignment with established office protocols while ensuring compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Key Responsibilities- Generate daily and weekly delivery reports, assist in selecting driver routes, and troubleshoot any delivery discrepancies.
- Act as a timekeeper for unionized staff by entering and validating timecards, ensuring adherence to the CBA.
- Manage incoming calls on a multi-line system and provide a welcoming response to inquiries from employees, visitors, vendors, and the public.
- Support various administrative functions such as scheduling meeting rooms, coordinating catering services, and managing mail distribution. May involve handling courier packages.
- Contribute to the financial and operational analysis and activities of the organization.
- Facilitate communication with vendors and oversee payment processes.
- High school diploma is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a business administrative role within a dynamic environment.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
- Proficient in various software applications, including Word, Excel, and SAP.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Able to collaborate effectively across multiple departments on various projects.
- Experience in processing invoices and reconciling financial statements is advantageous.
- Previous support experience for senior management and leadership teams is beneficial.
