About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Parks Business Analyst - Data Insights Specialist to join our team at the Department of Tourism, Heritage & Culture. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to provide strategic insights for decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data visualization reports to inform business decisions
  • Provide training and support to park staff on data collection and analysis
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop strategies for accurate data collection and validation
  • Install and maintain people counters and other hardware in Provincial Parks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • University degree and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience or a two-year college diploma with a minimum of six (6) years related experience
  • Thorough knowledge and experience working with various computer software programs (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Word, PowerPoint, SQL)
  • Experience with machine learning and other data automation tools
  • Valid class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
