Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive a positive experience.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that all inventory is managed efficiently.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, providing insights to management on areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, restaurant.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, physically demanding.
