We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Client Sales Executive to join our team at D2L. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships across multiple North American Higher Education accounts. Your primary goal will be to gain a deep understanding of your clients' needs and maintain exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client relationships and identify revenue opportunities within each account
- Forecast and manage the end-to-end contract renewal process for assigned territory
- Develop and maintain a territory plan for assigned account base
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to foster relationships and uncover sales opportunities
- Effectively deploy D2L resources to advance the sales process
- Collaborate with other D2L stakeholders on client account teams
- Stay up-to-date on current industry trends and be able to speak intelligently about the education industry
- Attend sales meetings, product seminars, trade shows, and conferences as needed
- Occasional travel required (25% of time) for client sites and user conferences
- 3+ years in a SaaS sales-oriented account management role
- Client-facing experience in sales, support, or service-related roles
- Knowledge of Solution Selling Methodology
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and committed to excellence and detail
- Experience with enterprise-level web-based applications
- Experience with learning-related enterprise systems (Learning Management Systems, Training and Assessment Systems, or similar) is an asset
- Knowledge of the Higher Education Market is an asset
