Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented university student to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa as a RF Application Engineer Co-Op. This 12-month internship will provide the successful candidate with hands-on experience in the development and testing of wireless integrated circuit components.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply sound engineering skills to a variety of tasks in the area of WiFi / IoT device evaluation and customer board tuning and testing, including PA, LNA, switch, and FEM products.
- Assist in the new integrated circuit and module product test activities.
- Perform lab testing of RF circuits, present test results, and participate in customer SCH/Layout reviews.
- Complete small projects and task assignments of various degrees of complexity, ranging from device characterization, test environment programming, and documentation.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, PPT, and Word) and have an aptitude for quickly learning other company-specific software.
- Experience in using test equipment and tools such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources, and soldering tools is preferred.
