Job Summary

We are seeking a talented university student to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa as a RF Application Engineer Co-Op. This 12-month opportunity will provide hands-on experience in wireless integrated circuit component development, customer board tuning, and testing.

Responsibilities
  • Assist application engineering group members with customer support activities.
  • Participate in new integrated circuit and module product test activities.
  • Lab test RF circuits, present test results, and participate in customer SCH/Layout reviews.
  • Complete small projects and task assignments of varying complexity.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program.
  • Knowledge of basic electronic circuits and principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT, and Word) and willing to learn company-specific software.
  • Knowledge of RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience with test equipment and tools such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources, and soldering tools is preferred.
  • Good communication, organization, and documentation skills, with a willingness to work in a lab hands-on environment.
